Marathon

Marathon is known as "The Heart of the Florida Keys" situated in the middle of the Florida Keys, halfway between the islands of Key West and Key Largo. It covers an area of approximately 10 square miles and includes several smaller islands. Marathon is not only conveniently located to all things Florida Keys, additionally Marathon offers an abundance of activities, restaurants, dining, two golf courses and even an airport! 

Marathon offers one of the nicest and largest public sandy beaches in the Florida Keys, Sombrero Beach. Located within the area of Sombrero Beach is an 18 hole golf course at the Florida Keys Country Club. Key Colony Beach is a smaller island off of Marathon and is an incorporated City of its own.
