Key Largo is a small island located in the Florida Keys, known for its tropical climate, scenic beauty, and laid-back lifestyle. The first and longest Key, it is known as "The Dive Capital of the World", with the only living coral reef system in the continental United States located just a few miles off shore in the tropical blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Key Largo is home to some incredible snorkeling or SCUBA diving on reefs and wrecks in addition to many other water activities. At only 1 hour to Miami International Airport and 1.5 hours to Fort Lauderdale International Airport, this area is an easily accessible location.

Key Largo is home to several county, state and federal parks including "Key Largo Community Park" located at mile marker (MM) 99.  Key Largo Park has something to offer for most outdoor exercise enthusiasts with tennis courts, a pedestrian trial, pickelball, basketball courts, baseball courts, volleyball, pavilions, a children's playground, Jacobs Aquatic Center and much more.

John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park is a protected underwater paradise!  Pennekamp has a great beach area, kayaks, SUP, concession areas and many on-shore activities as well. The entrance to Pennekamp is located at mile marker (MM) 102.5.
