Duck Key

Duck Key, Florida, is a small island between the Upper and middle Florida Keys, situated between the islands of Conch Key and Grassy Key. Duck Key is less than 1 sq. mile .03 of that is water; and less than 1,000 full time residents according to the 2020 US Census. There are two areas of Duck Key. The East part of the island consists of single family homes all built with concrete construction according to the community deed restriction. All of the homes have the Monroe County standard 28 day minimum rental period.

The Singh Company of Key West, well known for the Truman Annex, entered the Upper Keys in the middle 1990s and began Hawk's Cay Village which is located at the front or West side of the island before entering the residential area.  Hawks Cay Resort offers several hundred Caribbean-style cottages all with water views, porches and the traditional white picket fence. The cottages and townhouses are each individually or privately owned by investors, families and second home owners. These units have the option to be managed by the resort and offered into the Hawks Cay rental program.

There are presently 381 homes, complete convention facilities, and multiple recreational facilities including a swim with the dolphin program, a stunning oasis pool, multiple dining options, programs and camps for the children at Coral Cay and so much more.

To live on Duck Key is truly a unique Keys experience. The boating access is incredible with the island being direct oceanfront. You can be out to a world famous fishing spots in minutes!
